#TICKTALK Feat Titan Raga X Masaba Refined Timepiece

It’s a blessing to do what I am doing.¬†Getting up every morning in my own space, working on my own’s dream instead of slogging on someone else’s. I get to create content that makes me constantly moving alongside trying to inspire as many people as I can without any compromise in terms of who I am as a person. This work is no 9 to 5 but a 24×7 but I don’t complain as it is not only my lifetime commitment but a long-term dream.

My work and career are as unique as Masaba’s Titan Raga collection as she says #befiercelyauthentic.

¬†I saw stories on Masaba’s Instagram while she was shooting for this watch and a few days later I get the news of The Raga Masaba Launching and I got super excited as I am a proud admirer of her since the very beginning. ( inspired me and still doing so ) ¬†And when I checked the collection I was dazzled by it!

The relationship women have with their watches is sacred and finding the right one to look like million could be a task cause I believe timepieces plays a very important in completing a look.

TRIBAL HUG – I change my watch depending on my look and a good thin coil watch in gold ( motif hugging ) adds a lot of feminine touch with a hint of chich and poise. The detail of this watch has inspiration from the ornate columns of ancient architecture. The Masaba logo in hot pink adds that pop of fun. I styled this timepiece very ME as working one’s quirk was the goal while putting the looks together.

I styled my very straight pencil dress with fun block patch of color with 2 of my other favorite timepiece from the collection!

1. ¬†SWAYING FISHES RoseGold Mesg strap with casted dangling fishes that clink against, it that hangs down beautifully on the skin – the dial is detailed with Masaba’s ‘shank’ motifs that bring an antique glory to the contemporary charm.

2. WANDERER ELEPHANT  concept timepiece is so classic yet traditional and it is inspired by arts and roots of Indian heritage.

It can’t get easier than‚Äč a Blazer

As we walk towards winter everything big and warm in your closet that needed attention gets attention and for starters what better than a post featuring a Blazer styled as a dress.

When I bought the Caption¬†web belt I kept on wondering how could I possibly style this piece and finally concluded on fastening it on an oversized blazer which mimics dress, well the struggle was not the styling part but not having an oversized blazer that would do the part, while I was looking around for one ( all the stores possible ) I too explained my photographer the mood board and told her – This is what and how I want to do but I don’t have an oversized blazer and I can’t seem to find the right one… ¬†And here’s¬†the enthralling part, she told – my dad seems to have one why don’t you style them? I think I was the happiest person on the planet that moment cause I really wanted to create this look! And to me, fashion is all about doing something atypical and singular with¬†whatever you comprehend as beauty and artistry.

Pantsuits are so popular from the past to recent times and we as well witness a lot of fashionistas donning them in different ways, I totally love wearing things that are typically not ladylike and for some reason, it gives me extra power! But I decided to ditch the pants and just went for the suit jacket, who says Blazers are just for formals? We can wear anything in any way we want!

I can’t¬†do without hoops, and this thick silver pair was just made for this look, with a grey and black checked handbag I must say the look was almost completed. It took me good 10 minutes contemplating on what shoe I shall pair this look with? ¬†Grey, Black, silver so on… but I cast the die to break the monotony with a Red block heel! I had so much fun creating¬†and styling this look, I hope you enjoy¬†going through it too.

Fall Fashion My Way

3C0E820D-8266-49D0-A0FC-0A8F4ABB418B

My babes know how much I love the fourth temperate season, something about fall excites me so much that I never have failed to do a post or make a post each year. From the changing of leaves color, pumpkins, pumpkin spice latte to its scented candles but what excites me the most is “THE FASHION”.

Inevitably, as it starts to cool our clothing also changes in terms of textures and hues. The transitions are always fun, it brings forth all your warm tone clothing and hence the abundance of warm palette explodes into an autumnal melody.

I have put together 2 looks for this very fall post, curating these outfits got me so joyous as I styled it in my very own way and my most happy moment is when I do things that is ME.

Look 1 РA Trench Coat in warm tone Gray Green paired with my black mules and a hooped handle clutch all 3 from ZARA. Adding a bit of punk with F21 over reacting cap.

This outfit takes its inspiration from the bygones times,¬†not wearing as what it is but as a dress is what makes me call “FALL FASHION MY WAY” ¬†I am pretty sure a lot of other fashionistas¬†do it too and I love all of them for doing so. Instead of wearing a pair of boots I chose to wear mules, this way the entire looks remains subtle, classy yet a bit casual just how I like.¬†

Look 2 – A Shirt Dress with Ballon Sleeves from ZAPYLE again paired with Mules (checked) my current obsession and checked sling with a bow from ZARA.

I love the fact that both the outfit came along with waist belt because if you know me I love belts as it accentuates your waist and gives a different dimension.

I also filmed a lookbook hope you guys enjoy this post.

Better Yourself

Processed with VSCO with a4 preset

“KEEPING UP WITH YOUR BETTER SELF IS NOT AN EASY TASK,”  said a wise man but a worthwhile task.

One often Question asked to me is “How I keep my sanity intact”? As this field offers a lot of competition and there are times you just feel like you are lacking and loosing!

But here’s what I truly and deeply believe in

– Don’t let insecurity consume your best self and be ready for the best and worst at all times.

– Work on yourself, try improving your content each time you put up something, don’t cry about who is doing what campaign because you know what? If you put up good work no one can stop you.

– Please remember Blogging, Instagram anything to do with content creation is a form of art and not merely to become a famous and popular personality because that comes along eventually.

– I believe in the field of art, talent will erupt from each corner and instead of putting down the new talents lets all lift each other up, I am so ready for a new girl on the blog and instead of hating her on her growth I did love to know her learn so much from her instead. ( No room for negative energy ) period! I personally had to face so much negative energy but I let them fly!

– Don’t change yourself but improve yourself, when I practice this I learned it presents new opportunities, uplifts my self-esteem to high levels and helps me become a better version of myself.

– Be a good listener and a lifelong learner, say stop to your inner critic.

– Stop falling into comparison trap, comparing yourself to others life and doing is a very destructive habit because you can never win. There is someone who has more and has something better. Instead look at the positive side and see how far you have come. (Spend more time with supportive people rather with destructive people)

– Last, remember why you are doing it? Be your own best friend and be kind towards people.

I write mostly on fashion but so many queries made me want to scribble down all my thoughts and practice hope it helps.

Minimalism in a different way

Processed with VSCO with m3 preset

“The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak”. ~Hans Hofmann

When we talk about trends that never go out of style, minimalism is definitely one of them.

As much as I love being extra at times, I am most of the time very simple and I don’t like trying very hard too.

‚ÄúLess is more‚ÄĚ may be overused, but it‚Äôs for a reason: when sleek, simple minimalist style is done right, it can make more of an impact than even the loudest of outfits.

Keeping outfit looking clean and streamlined can be just as fun as experimenting with color and piling on the prints.  Personally, I enjoy experimenting with colors but I also like keeping it minimal and chic, yes! a bit complicated but I assure it is worth the risk!

How is it a different minimalism?

Red is nowhere near minimal? Then why I still call this look a minimal one?

To me, everything in right amount and balance is Minimalism.

Paired a classic Off-the-shoulder ballon arm with a corduroy midi pencil skirt in black and color coordinated the top with my favorite red pump heel!

I believe the red lifts up boredom yet the silhouette of the top keeps it simple as I like it!

For makeup, I kept it extra simple with just moisturizer, eyebrows and highlighter and nothing else!!

Perspex always is classic hence this pretty little bag with a pink polka pouch inside just got my outfit in a perfect place!

Completed the look with an unusual accessory a pair of “reading glasses” well I said Minimal and this just serves the purpose right!

THRIFT TRIUMPH Part 2‚Äč

Continuation…….

¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† As much as we all love shopping here is the real and worst part of living -” having to have a limit on how much you spend “

I am sharing how I stay exuberant even in times I am on my tightest budget!

Living by myself since 5th grade taught me several things in life and this very part of “thrifting/street shopping” during that time of deep burrow in the pocket for self-sanity has always been my thing.

¬†This is for those in colleges and schools that can barely afford a Starbuck’s¬†drink, much less a GUCCI purse. Now that most fashion blogs have to do luxury brands and designer’s accessories, but I believe that fashion is fashion, style is style. Regardless of the brand and the price tag.

Let you spend Rs 100 or Rs 50000, fashion belongs to all of us.

LIVING WITH MY BELIVE

¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† “Buying and donning just luxury items won’t make you a fashion person but just making simple things look luxurious is more of what makes you a fashion person #WEARME

While it’s obvious that anyone with a good credit can look fashionable, let’s give some reason #why you don’t need money to be fashionable?

Find your fashion

What is your style? Just #doyou

Review your existing wardrobe

Now that you know how you want your wardrobe to look like, start finding what fits your vision and what does not.

GO out and Shop

Get ready to be tried, stroll the streets like never before, you will never know the importance of “Thrift shopping/street shopping unless you TRY.

DON’T FOLLOW TREND but TAKE INSPIRATION

I clearly hate those who flock after trends, ¬†it’s totally fine to take inspiration from each season’s trends but let’s not follow and copy everything after all if you are a fashion person you are ought to create original fashion. ¬†Believe me when I say ”¬†Find beauty in everything ” Your ability to create an amazing put together look even with an underrated outfit is what makes you more of a fashionable person. ¬†

Take your BFF

¬†Give her/his your Cash, if you are like me and you spend without a thought, “she will hold you accountable”

Your True Worth

Lastly РKnow your value, wear what makes you happy, make sure your inner soul and the person underneath all that beautiful clothes is also beautiful inside!

 WHAT I AM WEARING?

Well, guys believe me or not my SKIRT, SHIRT, and SHADES cost only Rs 400 INR combined. Picked up from a random shop while I was walking across the street in KORAMANGALA BANGALORE INDIA. If you guys to have best finds like this let me know so that we all can look amazing together!

I love the simplicity of this shirt, the color has to be my favorite besides everything I love the balloon sleeves which just easily lifts up an ordinary shirt right? Just making it a bit sexier with that shoulder drop ūüėČ

¬†OH, MY GOD! Talk about the skirt, and I won’t stop cause it is my price possession without a doubt! The fish cut makes you look even finer and taller which I need a bit, and the patches of corduroy and denim make it look so high fashion without having to spend a ton!

Have to mention about this Rs 150 worth glasses, gosh the tint just compliments so well with my outfit right? The shape also frames my face so well! Also, it reminds me of my Dad’s old collection and he almost took it from me but hey I didn’t! He probably figured how obsessed I was!

THE EASY WAY ‚Äč‚Äč

I am a girl who loves a good ‘leg breathing room’.¬†As much as we know skinny jeans have had a grip on our wardrobe we are also always drawn towards looser silhouette!

“Correct me if I am wrong”

Well, my mail¬†box once received a bag full of fashion goodies from http://www.yoins.com and post unboxing I begin to imagine “how to style each one of them”? ¬†This is the 2nd outfit that I styled, first¬†one on my previous blog!

This very versatile off shoulder piece which is super comfortable and lightweight, subtle amount of skin show without having that over the top feels! While following the off-shoulder trend, of which I have never been a huge fan, am not forgetting my personal style #wearme,  This for sure will make my once boring pants instantly playful

They say if you are under 5’4 you should avoid wide leg pants whatsoever as you might sink into it, TBH I am below the criteria and I have never been swallowed by them rather I stood high, provided I keep few points in minds such as print and patterns, I feel it extremely falters one’s body shape, personally I feel taller and leaner each time I wear ¬†any sort of wide leg! besides everything else, I don’t have to worry about squeezing into them or about consuming an endless amount of food. WIN-WIN¬†situation right?

This striped wide leg was picked up from a street shop just at Rs 250 INR amazing right ?

I felt extremely on the go and ease while wearing this outfit, a bit casual and playful, it took about a min or so to put them together and adorn it with a pair of ballerinas and earrings.

THRIFT TRIUMPH part 1

A series that I have been hankering to set forth and transcribe with all of you , to highlight and address my affordable finds .

As much as I love and fancy all things luxury I equally love to find different approach to fashion each time and that ” includes thrifting and buying during sale ” I HAVE NO SHAME ON THIS ADMISSION ! There is no harm in thinking a bit outside way and in working with what we’ve got .  I feel extremely blessed to have so many people find inspiration from what I wear and how I express !

IDEA OF THRIFTING  :

Don’t do it for the sake of trend rather find pleasure in discovering some thing different and  to create something disparate .

Have the ability to create your own style , play around and create .

Love the idea of spending less money and still looking on point .

I am no believer of trend or whatsoever but I believe that each trend has to do from the past and there are many instances to that  and the fun part while thrifting is to find the treasures from the past long gone while they wait for a fresh eye and creativity .

TIPS :

Lot of patient ! Dig till you Dip

( WONT come easy )

Be committed to find the treasure and keep your eyes open .

Bit of luck and lots of hard work !

Takes years to find perfection (Not there yet)

I love thrifting because it gives me immense pleasure to do or to create something from scratch by my self with a bit of inspiration from here and there and when I style and wear them it becomes my shield that I am so proud off and gives me more confidence !

Blue Shirt : Thrifted From Koramangala Rs 80 INR

White and yellow shirt same place Rs 150 INR

Striped Pants Old one from Boyfriend’s wardrobe

Black flared pants KOOVS

You can always pair expensive and inexpensive together , blended well creates an amazing LOOK !

Bag : Louis Vuitton

DOSE OF BLUSH Feat Tfnclondon

Frills , sexy back , slit , long dress , maxi , rosé and all that drama typically not very me ! Well today I am exhibiting a bit of unexpected love affair as I got out of my REALM to experiment what I have not done so far .

“I am always your typical all grey , black , basic and don’t bother me kind” and my most intriguing part while creating this look was to keep that attitude intact alongside the drama , as they say anything is possible with right amount of balance and I must concede of loving to create ¬†the ¬†balance !

Who knew the Oscar de la Renta Maxi dress for Elizabeth Arden would still be gracing the ankles of all fashionable people all around the world up to date ? The epidemic that was spread during the 70s is still very much on air uphill 2017 .

Talking of the hue “blush” it has been a long part of statement making fashion with its ubiquitous influence I had no choice but to adore .

This very dress from TFNCLONDON ¬†will remain my absolute love to have start this affair which is unusual and unexpected . I kept the monotony intact by pairing the dress with lighter blush colour pair of ¬†heels and a Burgundy handbag just a hint of the upcoming falls season ūüėČ

I gave my best shot on something new yet with #WEARME
